Hello friends!
Here is the update you have all been waiting for! ♥ Production is complete, the pins are in our hands and are ready to be shipped out to you!!
If you haven't completed your survey yet - now is the time! We also have a few backers whose credit cards couldn't process the payment - please check your inbox for an email from Backerkit to see if this pertains to you and update your info so we can send you your goodies!!
If you need to change your shipping info, please let one of us know ASAP (before Friday) so we can send your package to the right place!
If you have any questions about fulfillment or your survey (or anything!) please reach out to either of us (@owlandbearstudio & @frogtreegames) via instagram or email! It's a lot easier for both of us to keep track of. :)
On to the exciting part - pin photos! We are really happy with how they turned out :o

Quick Update - Production nearing completion!

Hi everyone, it's been a little while since the last update!
This one will be quick as there hasn't been much new to report! Pin production is well under way and we expect to have pins in our hands in the next few weeks in line with our campaign schedule for June/July delivery! We will make sure to post another update when pins arrive with some photos and to let you know fulfillment is under way!

Reward Surveys Coming Your Way!

Hi all,
We hope you are doing well! We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say: Reward Surveys are coming!!
Sometime within the next 48 hours, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your survey (through a service called BackerKit). It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts (probably in mid-April).
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://slimy-frens-an-enamel-pin-collection.backerkit.com.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact us via https://slimy-frens-an-enamel-pin-collection.backerkit.com/faq (see the "Still Have Questions? We just wanted to post a quick update thanking you all for the success of this campaign! All of your support, kind words and excitement for these slimy critters really means a lot. :) Now that the campaign is over, we will be getting to work on surveys and preparing for manufacturing. You'll see another update from us in the coming week with more details!

Campaign Name Change - And A HUGE Thank You!!

Hello, you beautiful people!
WOW WOW WOW!!!! Thank you so much for your pledges, shares, and kind words offered for our Slimy Kickstarter since we launched on Valentine's Day - it means the WORLD!! We cannot believe that all designs were unlocked in the FIRST HOUR (seriously, our jaws hit the floor!), and we are so so grateful for the level of support we have received thus far. Thank you ALL, so much!
On a more serious (but even more important) note, we have decided to change the name of our project to "Slimy Friends" (instead of "Frens") after a kind follower pointed out to us that the old name has alarming connotations. We were alerted to the fact that "Frenworld" (associated with a popular frog meme) has serious and harmful racist implications, and using the word "fren" (especially with frog imagery) could be seen as a racist dogwhistle.
While we weren't aware of this when we designed the campaign (and weren't even aware that "fren" was associated with any meme at all), we know that intention is only one small part of the equation. Even those with good intentions can cause serious harm.
Both Alena and Laura want to offer our sincere apologies for our ignorance here. We hope that we did not cause anyone to feel alarmed or unsafe. We absolutely do NOT want to be associated with this racist meme or the promotion of hatred and violence!
We are dedicated to providing a SAFE SPACE for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or ability. Hate speech, bullying, or violence of any kind will absolutely not be tolerated!
